Renewed Mission in the Church

This Mission Formation Program is intended for all adult learners who are, and will be engaged in renewed evangelising mission in the Church through varied ministries. This Program seeks to envision a Church dynamically renewed by the Spirit of freshness and faithfulness to God’s mission through Jesus, the Missionary. Specifically, it aims:

 

 1.) To recognize the presence of God, especially in the situation of marginalization, suffering, poverty, violence, injustice and hopelessness.

2.) To participate in dialogical—experiential processes of understanding the theological roots of the evangelizing mission of the Church and dynamic engagement with the Word of God.

3.) To practice self-appropriation and evolve a renewed methodology of ministering that is committed to God's mission, serving not from the heights of superiority but from the depths of solidarity.

4.) To nurture a spirituality of mission that restores the integrity of God’s creation, respect differences and dares to cross new boundaries towards ne frontiers.
